I enjoy working with vegetable-tanned leathers, that patina and mature over time with use. Pieces are mostly hand-stitched, allowing the designs to be unconstrained by the limitations of my equipment. Like other natural materials, leather is complex and versatile - it has taken me years to understand how to get the most out of it.
